Javed Akhtar was born on January 17, 1945 in Gwalior, Central India Agency, British India. He is a writer, known for Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Talaash (2012). He has been married to Shabana Azmi since December 9, 1984. He was previously married to Honey Irani.
