Frankie Faison was born on June 10, 1949 in Newport News, Virginia, USA. He is an actor, known for Coming to America (1988), White Chicks (2004) and Do the Right Thing (1989). He has been married to Jane Mandel since December 26, 1988. They have three children.

Despite the fact that there were numerous characters in common between them, Frankie Faison is the only actor to appear in all four Hannibal Lector films (with the exception of Hannibal Rising (2007)): Manhunter (1986) as Lt. Fiske, and The Silence of the Lambs (1991), Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon (2002) as Barney the Orderly.
Was nominated for Broadway's 1987 Tony Award as Best Actor (Featured Role - Play) for August Wilson's "Fences."
