Life Story

Immigrated to the United States in 1952. Lived in a trailer -- traveling throughout the country with his family before settling in Kansas City, then suburban Chicago. Educated at Northern Illinois University. Began his professional career in Chicago, where he helped found The Theatre Building, then moved to New York in 1978. Now lives in London and Chicago.

He was awarded a 1976 Joseph Jefferson Citation for Actor in a Principal Role for his performance in "Green Julia" at the All Media Dramatic Workshop/Magic Circle Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
He was nominated for a 1979 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play for "Holiday" at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
Has appeared in both a Jason Bourne and a James Bond film.
