Afzal Khan a.k.a. John Rambo rose to fame by playing a janitor nicknamed John Rambo in Pakistan Television Corporation's (PTV) famous comedy show "Guest House". He later assumed John Rambo as his unofficial screen-name borrowed from Sylvester Stallone's iconic character. He is credited as Rambo in many of his movies. Ironically, his character in Guest House often dreams about becoming a famous movie star and the same TV show helped him land his first feature film role in real life. Khan later became one of the biggest stars of Pakistani movie industry during 1990's when so-called Lollywood's productions saw a temporary boom.
