Adrian Scarborough was born on May 10, 1968 in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England as Adrian Philip Scarborough. He is an actor, known for Gosford Park (2001), Dirty Pretty Things (2002) and The History Boys (2006). He is married to Rose Blackshaw. They have two children.

In March 2011 he won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a revival of the play "After the Dance" at the National Theatre Lyttelton.
In March 2013 he was nominated for an Olivier award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "Hedda Gabler" at the Old Vic Theatre.
As of 2014, has appeared in three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: Gosford Park (2001), The King's Speech (2010) and Les Misérables (2012). Of those, The King's Speech (2010) is the only one which won in the category.
