(meaning to ‘search’ or ‘inquiry’ in Urdu) is the debut film produced and directed by Zeeshan Khan (list key dramas produced and directed). It’s a story of friendship, love And adventure but also deals with the serious issue of malnutrition rife in parts of rural Pakistan.

Talash tells the story of three close friends – Saleem, Tania and Khurrum – who have recently graduated as medical doctors and are involved in setting up a medical camp in rural Tharparkar. When Khurrum leaves his village and promises to return in five days, concern grows when days turn to months. Saleem and Tania begin their search (or ‘talash’) for their friend while deep down inside, Tania battles with her feelings for Khurrum, unaware Saleem has feelings for her.

Talash stars Adnan Shah Tipu (Sunno Chanda), Mustafa Qureshi (Maula Jatt), Humaira Bano, Saleem Meraj (Na Maloom Afraad), Mumtaz Kanwal, Humaira Bano and introduces newcomers Noaman Sami, Ahmed Zeb and FariaHassan.
