BASICS OF ROCK CLIMBING & MOUNTAINEERING

Pakistan is bestowed with some of the world’s loftiest mountains of the world. A good number of climbers visit Pakistan from all over the world to attempt various peaks. It’s unfortunate that there is hardly any climbing training available in Pakistan. 
Considering the dearth of the knowledge, facilities and quality training, Saiyah takes initiative to offer exclusively designed introductory programs for various disciplines of climbing & mountaineering. 

A series of introductory indoor sessions is designed leading towards advance training to get expertise in rock climbing, alpine mountaineering and wilderness survival etc.
The designed sessions / workshops would be supervised by none other than, one of the most celebrated mountaineer, physician, trainer and weather expert, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Bhatti ( Lt. Col. Retd. ). Dr. Bhatti has climbed Broad Peak & Gasherbrum 2 and got the prestigious award of Pride of Performance in Mountaineering, while he is also recipient of military decoration of Tamgha-e-Basalat. He has recently lead Pak-China Spantik Peak Expedition and successfully climbed the peak. 

Dr. Bhatti is also one of the pioneers in Paragliding in Pakistan and licensed pilot and certified trainer for Paragliding. 
Our introductory sessions, supervised by Dr. Bhatti alongwith a seasoned and qualified support team, are worth joining, while an overview of the forthcoming program as captioned above, is as following,
