This extended audio visual edition of The Southasia Ensemble features an insanely rich and contemporary mix of Southasia's most significant musical traditions. We take inspiration from Qawwali which is performed to a critical mass at shrines across the region on Thursday nights, and mix it with new world sounds produced by Ahsan Bari Music. This edition will feature a large live ensemble and will be held in the beautiful courtyard of the Alliance Francaise de Karachi.
