Modou's songs are sung in Wolof, Mandinko, Soninke, Portuguese creole, French and English. His music reflects his experiences and talks about love, destiny, origins, identity. It draws from his experience, from a hectic childhood to football championships, observations from family life, relationships, and the streets of Dakar.
