The session will be led by Saba Khalid, founder of Aurat Raaj and Raaji series. Khalid is an award-winning social entrepreneur, journalist, filmmaker and blogger. She successfully built a global revolution around her app Raaji. Her platform Aurat Raaj has empowered women across urban and rural Pakistan.

Khalid has won several accolades for her innovation and impact. In 2018, she became the winner of the AI Empowering the Future Award at BAFTA in UK. She is the 2019 UN World Summit Award Winner and chosen as the global champion for Learning and Education in Lisbon. She was the closing speaker for World Summit of Arts and Culture Kuala Lumpur in 2019. She also won the She Loves Tech Pakistan edition in 2018 and pitched her organisation in China. 

She is a Do School fellow and became their seed grant winner in Berlin. In 2012, she worked with Rolling Stone as part of her IFA Cross Culture Fellowship and later became their Country Ambassador. She attended the US sponsored Tech Camp and won the Cultural Vistas grant to work with Indian health startups. After receiving the Pollination Project grant in 2018, she received their impact prize in 2019. 

Her fashion accessories line designed from retrieved plastic landed her in the top 10 teams for WWF Green Innovation Challenge. Her company was recently selected from Karachi for the Standard Chartered Women in Tech cohort I. 

In June 2019, Khalid will be part of the prestigious US-sponsored International Visitor Leadership Program. In August, she represents Pakistan at the Alpbach in Motion in Austria.
