Latcho Drom (1993) is a critically acclaimed documentary by Director Tony Gatlif, celebrating a centuries-old way of life practiced by the nomadic Romany people spread across the world. An enchanting film featuring musicians and dancers (who are actual members of the Romani community) of India, Egypt, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, France and Spain, the film tells the story of the communities through music and very little dialogue.
