Driving along the banks of the river Indus onto the legendary Silk route we are simply awed by the grandeur of the landscape. 
Onroute we witness at Jaglot, the coming together of 3 of the highest mountain ranges of the world…the mighty Himalayas, Karakoram & the Hindukush.
At Thailchi we come face to face with “The killer peak” Nanga Parbat (8125m), 2nd highest mountain peak of Pakistan and the 9th highest peak of the world. 

Glowing in the colors of spring, surrounded by majestic snow clad peaks of Rakaposhi 7788m, Diran 7266m, Ultar 7400m, Golden Peak 7027m, Hunza Valley is a true paradise.
We explore the historical splendors of Altit & Baltit forts, the beautiful bustling narrow lanes of Karimabad, the ancient watch towers in the heart of Ganish Village and the breathtaking views from Eagles Nest. 

As we continue heading further North to the last frontiers, we cross the pristine blue waters of Attabad lake towards Gulmit.
