TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATED TEACHING & LEARNING

As  of 21st century, the educational sector is surrounded with  digital tools. Being teachers, it is essential to be abreast in use of technology in the teaching learning process so that learners can be shown a positive side of technology. Appropriate use of technology can aid in establishing positive relationship with students.
Although most teachers strive hard to be effective, not all of them succeed. The ones who succeed in being called an effective teacher excel in skills, strategies and techniques which are needed as per the demand of 21st century, as an effective teacher directly affects students` academic achievement and personality development.

OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:

• Identify their signature style of teaching.
• Improvise their teaching style from transferal to transformational.
• Explore options for effective technology integration in the teaching and learning process.
• Examine technology as a bridge and not a barrier in the teaching learning process.

 Trainer`s Profile:

Ms Zenab Mohammad (Head of BIRD)
Ms Zenab Mohammad is an intrinsically motivated educationist, trainer, motivational speaker, social media influencer, researcher, lesson planning expert, and content writer who embarked upon her teaching journey in the year 2011. She has taught in different grade levels and schools. Upon the completion of B Ed and M Ed from Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education, she started teacher training with multiple organizations such as LEAD 360, Knowledge World Skill Development Center. In addition to this, she heads BIRD (Badri Institute of Resource and Development) and CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) Department at Badri High School. She is the torch bearer of introducing Project Based Learning as pedagogy in the educational circle of Khyber Pakhtoon Khuwa. In addition to this, she offers her services as a content writer to renowned organization such as Entrepreneur`s Den and Delight Media Group. She is a staunch believer of learning by doing.
