Description
Is there anything better than spending endless summer days lounging and reading? We say yes there is, and that’s the chance to rehash the book all over again with others who’ve read it too.
This summer, we’re launching “Bookish” at the library, a teen book club for all our teenage reading enthusiasts. Come hang out with others with similar tastes in books over snacks.
Chosen by our Bookish members, Ocean at the End of the Lane is a powerful story of storytelling and memory-making. A tale as dark as any Neil Gaiman story, it draws its sense of horror from the idea that the most dangerous monsters always lurk closer than we think. The Ocean at the End of the Lane is told with a rare understanding of all that makes us human, and shows the power of stories to reveal and shelter us from the darkness inside and out.
Library members can borrow copies from the library; however, our copies are limited and available on a first come first serve basis.
