Description
Asia Pacific Youth Exchange (APYE) Thailand is a two week intensive hands-on local immersion program where the top young leaders from all across the world gather at Bangkok, Thailand to solve the most pressing of the challenges of Thai villages.
We are pleased to announce that Daastan has partnered with APYE Thailand where Daastan will provide an ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP for a two weeks long APYE Thailand (Jan 2020).
We are looking for the most deserving young leader(s) from Pakistan who can go on global level to represent Pakistan. Their goal would be to bring back the first prize.
Who we are looking for?
* Ages: 18 - 28 years old who are fluent in spoken English
* Basic Understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
* Critical thinking and leadership skills
* Open minded person who respects cultural differences
* Resilient person who can survive in harsh conditions
** Any other technical or creative skill set like ability to code, design, paint, write, sing, play, build, plan using digital technology would add bonus points to your portfolio.
The event is highly competitive where only a maximum 50 participants will compete for the top spot(s).

What will you get?
A specially designed two day hands-on training by the champion of APYE Thailand, Syed Ommer Amer who won 2nd prize globally. This will not only give you a fair idea of what the APYE Thailand will look like but will also give you a clear edge over other participants from different countries.
