After Cake, the next highly anticipated film is no other than Saboor Aly’s upcoming film, Nanu aur Main. It’s not only coming to give us the emotional roller coaster ride of all time, it’s here to present something new to the world of entertainment: The strong relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. Which is something that is not often shown on the silver screen.
Recently the short film Nanu Aur Main ‘s trailer was released on the Internet which gave many of its viewers a glimpse into the close relationship between a grandfather and a granddaughter. Not only does the film come with a soothing music, it also has actors like Qavi Khan who left no stone un-turned when it came to playing the emotional scenes. Moreover, it gives the audience a sense of culture related to hand-written letter that’s lost in this age of technology.

Nanu aur main trailer shows that the movie will portray the bond of between the two members of the family and highlights how a grandfather’s love knows no extend. The grandparent, played by Qavi Khan, knows how his granddaughter wants to explore the world. He wants her to go outside and become successful in her life. However, even though the granddaughter has mutual feelings for this decision, she wants to stay with her grandparent as he doesn’t know how to use a cell phone. But then she gets an opportunity to travel and both of them are shown communicating through hand-written letters.

The short film also highlights how the elders find it difficult to adapt to the fasting moving changes in the world and how social media is becoming the main medium of communication among many people. It’s something very different and highlight a lot of amazing things in a single short film, through perfectly directed scenes. After the release of the trailer, the viewers couldn’t help but comment on how incredible the movie looks like:
