Focusing on the squad of the Peshawar Zalmi, the captain; Darren Sammy as always is his determined and reliable attitude led the team to success in the second edition of the Pakistan Super League. However, the squad was dealt with a huge blow when Shahid Afridi who was a huge asset to the team left for the Karachi Kings. Four supplementary players were picked namely Andre Fletcher, Evin Lewis, Khalid Usman, Mohammad Arif.
The event which in itself was a roaring success was rounded off perfectly when the well-known band ‘Call’ revealed the official anthem ‘Hum Zalmi’ and lit up the night in vigorous fashion.
