In this time when all the major bands that we knew back from our childhood like Junoon, CALL, Fuzon and Vital Signs have been either disbanded or broken into people performing solos, it was a subtle need of the hour to get it all together and revive what have been missing for almost a decade now. Pepsi Battle Of The Bands happened first in 2000 and now after a hiatus of 17 years and trust me they didn’t come slow at all.
Anticipated and one of the most admired bands called Entity Paradigm, which had came into existence after emerging two separate bands Entity and Paradigm in 2002, come back together, reuniting after almost years of disappearance in the 2nd edition of Pepsi Battle Of The Bands. This musical show had already booked one of the members of this band, our very own Fawad Afzal Khan who had also delivered as a judge on the show along with Meesha Shafi and Atif Aslam. In the finale of the 2nd edition, the organizers managed to get them all together to exhibit and bring back the magic that they used to create in 2002. This band consisted of singer turned actor Ahmed Ali Butt, Fawad A. Khan, Salman Albert, Zulfiqar J Khan, Sajjad A. Khan & Hassan Khan.
In the finale of Pepsi Battle Of The Bands, Fawad joined the crew and was the main vocalist along with Ahmed Ali Butt who also had his duty on the keyboards. They had performed on their original all time favorite song ‘Humesha’. It’s surprisingly amazing that the missing essence of hard rock and metal is coming back to life and endeavors are being measured to bring back the lost charm of Pakistani band scene.
