The Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra and Hollywood’s Nick Jonas have been discovered to be dating for a while, and rumor has it that they have even been engaged! It’s no surprise that there’s a lot of things brewing between the couple. However, many fans still question how these two got to be together. Well, buckle your seatbelts because your question has been answered by Dwayne Johnson!
It seems like the star who was responsible for “setting” them up has finally come out of the curtains.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, beloved American actor and producer Dwayne Johnson confessed to being the matchmaker for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ relationship. When he was initially asked about their recent relationship, he instantly asked if they were happy together. When reassured, the Skyscapper actor smiled and said, “Well then, I take credit. Baywatch and Jumanji. I did it, yes. If they’re happy.”
Last year, Johnson revealed how delighted and impressed he was when he first met Priyanka. In a 2017 CNN News interview, the actor said, “I love this woman, it’s funny when she came to America… She was over here, signed with our agency, with my agent, we immediately had that connection.” He excitedly added.
“We got on the phone, we immediately vibed, we share the same DNA, the same ambition… Not only did I fall in love with her, we had this crazy idea that she would be an amazing villain on ‘Baywatch’.” said Johnson.
Additionally, Dwayne Johnson has worked with both Priyanka and Nick, in an entirely separate set-up with each one. He worked alongside Nick in Jumanji, while he worked as a co-star for PeeCee’s co-star in Baywatch.
But then, he’s not the match-maker! He later admitted that he was joking about being the cupid. That’s true. In another interview, Nick revealed that he met Priyanka through her Quantico co-star Graham Rogers.
Aside from the love talks, the Quantico star is all set to start in her next Bollywood project, The Sky is Pink. What’s more is that she will be turning into an author with her memoir titled Unfinished, which will be published in 2019.
