3 Storeys Movie Review: A Juicy Tale Where Three Stories Come Forth As One

Direct Arjun Mukherjee is a debutant who has come forward as one heck of a movie for a starter director. If you ask someone what makes a movie great, they will most likely say thriller, action or suspense. Yes, those are indeed the required element in movies but, in my opinion, what actually attracts the audience is the element of emotion. Mukherjee in 3 Storeys has worked out his magic in order draw the very emotions out of the viewers with three simple, but very relatable stories to look forward to in this film. But before we give you our review of the movie, here’s the official trailer:

The director manages to clearly describe the three stories: First is of an elderly neighborhood aunt, Flory Aunty played by Renuka Shahane, who lives all by herself. She looks for a buyer for her flat, Pulkit Samrat comes forth as the second person of interest in the story appears as a rich man who wants to buy it.

Second is of an intelligent woman who has to live with her abusive husband, who bears a flaming heart for her ex-lover. Masumeh Makijah plays the character in a graceful way and drives out empathy from the audience with quiet expressions.

He incredibly describes the lives of people who live in Mumbai chawls and argues with the statement that talks about these inhabitants living staid lives. It throws light on how fragile each human life is and also lays unimaginable circumstances that becomes an obstacle in their lives. Each story starts with something that the audience can easily relate to, ends with a delicious twist,
