Johannes Roberts was born on May 24, 1976 in Cambridge, England as Johannes Christopher Edward Roberts. He is a director and writer, known for 47 Meters Down (2017), Storage 24 (2012) and Darkhunters (2004).

Directed the world's first short series for mobile phones (When Evil Calls) in association with Zone Horror and Pure grass Films.
Directed his first feature film (Sanitarium) at the age of 23.
