Simplify and Perfect – Effective and Effcient – Doing the Right Things Right the First Time! This is what the basics of Lean Sigma are all about. In this workshop, the students we see, rst hand, how to apply easy concepts to improve their processes the very next day! The student will learn the basic concepts of how to simplify the process by identifying and removing wastes in processes. They will receive an overview on the various Lean Tools but focus most of their time identifying and removing waste through a series of two classroom exercises.
The second part of the class is focused on the basic concepts in
implementing Six Sigma, the elimination of process variability.
Students will have two exercises that focus on the measurement of
processes and capturing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) to the
removal of process variability thereby improving the process!
